英语学习|说话加上“please”,就是有礼貌了?

在中国，我们常说“礼多人不怪”
所以到了说英语，很多人都习惯在句子的后面加一个“please”
他们认为，“please”和“thank you”是最有礼貌的词语，多说总没有错。
如果这样写，你就错了！
原来有时候说话即使带了“please”，是很不礼貌的！
我们感受一下，下面三组句子：
你可以再做一遍么？
Could you do that again, please？（最客气）
Could you please do that again？（还算客气）
Please could you do that again？（不客气，有命令意味）
所以please的客气程度是
句尾（很客气）> 居中（一般客气）>句首（命令）
please放句尾，避免口气太直接
May I leave early today, please？
我今天可以早点走么？
please放在句首，指令清晰明确。
Please open your book.
请打开书。
如果想要礼貌客气，也不一定要用please，用could和would一样可以表示请求。
你可以把文件发给我么？
Could you possibly send me the file？
Would you mind sending me the file？
